FOOD ALLERGY SAFETY: DOWNLOAD EVENT REQUIREMENTS

Special events enrich the lives of our students by contributing to a sense of community and making memories that will last a lifetime.  The Humbercrest Allergy Committee appreciates these efforts and wants to support the mission!  The committee’s goal is to help ensure that any food products offered at school-related events are safe and, where uncertainty exists, allow families to make informed decisions about any food their children consume.

Event organizers, school administration and teachers are encouraged to download the Events with Food/Drink Requirements guide for more information.

DROP-ZONE Volunteers Needed!

Drop-Zone is a Parent Council initiative intended to provide parents with a quick and safe way to drop their kids off at school each day.  One volunteer and one staff are on duty on Watson Ave to help kids out of your vehicles and into the supervised schoolyard from 8:45-9:00 am.

We are looking for VOLUNTEERS! Please consider donating 20 minutes of your morning!  Volunteering once or twice a month goes a long way in helping keep our students safe!

** NEW THIS YEAR – parent volunteers will be asked to wear gloves and a mask as well as the safety vest.

If you are interested in volunteering, please e-mail [email protected].  An online signup form will be available shortly.
