We are looking for the donation of “big ticket” items for our silent auction (eg. sports tickets, theatre tickets, vacation stays, electronics, etc.). If you have an item to donate, or have a contact with a local business that might be interested in donating, please contact one of our organizers: Sandra Carr or Lesley Scullion.
Parent Council is currently accepting applications for spending proposals that will benefit classrooms and students. This was introduced and discussed at the October Parent Council meeting and we will be excepting applications via email to Heather Sinclair for presentation at the November council meeting. All proposals will be read to Council and will be voted on at our November meeting. Teachers, parents, students and administrators are welcome to present their ideas. Parent Council determines which committees are needed each year. These sub-committees are the “working groups” of our school council, the potential of which is limited only by your energy and enthusiasm.
