Representatives to Parent Council

Parent Council also has a number of special Representatives that report each month.  If you are interested in any of these roles, please contact schoolcouncil@humbercrestcouncil.ca.

Community Representative:

In order to ensure good relations between the school and our surrounding community, a member of the community is asked to attend parent council meetings.

Support Staff Representative:

At each parent council meeting, a representative from Humbercrest’s support staff team is asked to bring forward ideas and concerns on behalf of all support staff.

Teacher Representative:

One or two teachers are asked to attend parent council meetings and bring forward ideas and concerns on behalf of all teachers.

Division Reps (K-3, 4-6, 7-8):

It is beneficial to have parents that represent all three divisions attend the parent council meetings.  If the chairs do not feel that all grades are being represented, a request may go out to parents to identify a representative for a certain division.
